Where should I stay as a student in Delhi Karol Bagh or Patel Nagar?

Introduction
As a student in Delhi, you’re faced with the dilemma of choosing between Karol Bagh and Patel Nagar as a place to stay. Both areas have their pros and cons, but from a personal experience, I’d recommend Patel Nagar over Karol Bagh. Here’s why:
karol bagh as a studen Although has some advantages to stay
Karol Bagh, on the one hand, has the advantage of being close to coaching centers, which is a significant consideration for students.
However, the cost of accommodation in this area can be quite steep. You may find rooms that are located in deep pockets, which can take around 15 minutes of walking to reach, but even then, the prices might be out of budget for many students.

More importantly, I have to advise against staying in Karol Bagh due to safety concerns. From my personal experience, I didn’t find Karol Bagh to be a safe area to stay, especially after 7 pm. There have been instances of chain and phone snatching, and in some cases, even leading to murders. As a student, you want to focus on your studies and not worry about your safety.

To stay in Patel Nagar is better
On the other hand, Patel Nagar is a much better option. It’s a posh area that’s considered safe, and the cost of living is significantly lower compared to Karol Bagh.
I can attest to this from my personal experience, as my overall living cost fell by 4-5 thousand rupees when I shifted from Karol Bagh to Patel Nagar. This can be a significant saving for students who are on a tight budget.
Conclusion
In conclusion, while Karol Bagh may have the advantage of being close to coaching centers, the safety concerns and high costs of accommodation make Patel Nagar a more attractive option for students.
Patel Nagar offers a safe and affordable living environment, which is essential for students who want to focus on their studies without worrying about their safety.
