The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the most awaited results for the Civil Services Examination 2023 on Tuesday. This year 1,016 candidates have been recommended for appointment to government services in various departments. The personality test round was scheduled between January 2 to 9 April 2024. This year Mr. Aditya Srivastava from Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh has achieved Rank 1 in the prestigious UPSC Civil Service Examination.

The Academic Journey of Aditya Srivastava is quite impressive and exceptional. He finished his schooling at CMS Lucknow, Aliganj branch.  he reportedly secured an outstanding score of 95% in his 12th board examination. Furthermore, he has achieved a dual degree in B.Tech and M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kanpur). Also, as per reports, he has got the gold medal in his IIT days.

After finishing his education at IIT, Aditya Srivastava started his professional journey by working at Goldman Sachs. He worked there for 15 months. It is assumed that this is the moment when he realized his desire to contribute to society. In an interview on YouTube, he shared that initially, he was focusing on financial security. So, he started working in the corporate sector.

By then, he soon realized that money was not the ultimate motivator. The Civil Services, with its possibility to bring about optimistic change on the ground level and its framework that permits innovation, appealed to him significantly. In an interview with m media, Aditya Srivastava said that it was his third attempt for UPSC CSE. In the first attempt, he was not able to clear the exam. On the second attempt, he cracked the UPSC CSC in 2022 achieved 236th rank, and got Indian Police Services(IPS). Currently, he is undergoing training at the National Police Academy in Hyderabad.

Mr. Aditya has shared the tips and his experience for the upcoming aspirants to crack UPSC CSE 2023. He said, “One must try to strike a balance between smart work and hard work. Writing practice is a must”. Moreover, he skipped the regular coaching and mostly did test papers and mock interviews. He was solving many previous year’s question papers and writing as many test papers as possible.
